What are your hours?

Currently business hours will vary as Amber Marie works as a nurse full time at the local hospital. Salon is booked around the hospitals rotational hours. So Amber Marie is able to offer mornings, evenings and weekends to accommodate all clients. Please contact Amber to book your podiatry and or Hair needs 403 664 9694

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, gift certificates/credit that can be purchased.

Do you use blades on cracked heels?

No, because not only do blades cause more damage, blading the heels can make fissures take longer to heal or cause the callus to regrow back thicker. The risk of cutting to deep into the thick callused skin may cause injuries like wounds or infection. Crown to sole has special podiatry drill equipment to debride calluses in a safe manner.

Do you soak feet?

No, soaking may allow bacteria or infection into any open areas on the feet. Crown to sole will perform good foot hygeine prior to treatment using nice warm soapy water and towels. It is also safer to work on dry skin for procedures such as debridement. Theres also the risk to burn a client if they have neuropathy and are unable to feel the temperature of the water.

Who cannot have nailpolish or gel paint on their feet?

If a client has any fungal nails whatsoever, the nails cannot be painted until fungal treatment is completed and nails have grown out healthy again. Healthy diagnosed toenails may be painted.
